    I'm not sure that I would rate them as 'amazing' but they are very good

    I find it hard to rate guitar strings. I feel that I need to have 2 identical guitars re-strung at the same, time because when I put new strings on they always sound good. That said, this is the first time that I've tried this particular type and a month on I'm still very pleased with the sound. I'm fairly light handed/ gentle with my guitar playing. I guess that people who aren't would choose heavier strings anyway

    My FAVOURITE acoustic strings!

    These are the best acoustic guitar strings I've ever played. To be honest, I'm not convinced they're particularly long lasting, as like any dedicated / discerning player, I change strings when they lose their initial "brightness" and tone. Nor do I think personally that their "coating" reduces finger noise (screech) any more than other strings do, BUT .... they sound absolutely amazing for at least a couple of weeks. Their tone and timbre is very good indeed, and they can make a mediocre guitar sound very, very good indeed. I used to be a huge fan of EB Earthwood's, but these Elixir's, easily surpass them in tone and "gliss". I thought the price I paid was an excellent deal, and I was happy to pay it, even though they're probably twice the price of other "players" strings. Get some - you'll love them!

    Take note of the manufacturer, they know best .

    The Taylor websight reccomend that exact make and model string set for that model guitar and having restrung my guitar with them , I can understand why. I will be using that string set on my Taylor now always.

    Fabulous strings but could be cheaper!

    These strings are amazing, they have a lovely clear warm sound and last much longer than traditional strings. I use them on my Norman B20 HG and it sounds great. Having said that I do think they are overpriced, as are all strings in my opinion. I would love to know what the 'mark up' on strings is? If they were cheaper then I would replace them much more frequently.

    Feels great and bright!

    This is my first time using Elixir stings on my acoustic I usually stick exclusively to Martin strings. Elixir strings feel great (very playable) and bright! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars it doesn't quite have the warmth of Martin strings attached his is especially noticeable when you amp up.
