MSP50 on Yamah F310
When I first tried this pickup I was very disappointed, it seemed far to bright, but then I experimented, finally arriving at a termination of a 47k resistor in parallel with a 470pF capacitor, and the results are, to my ear excellent, it captures much more of the guitar's natural tone than my Ovation with an under the saddle piezo. For the money it's good enough for open mics
Reasonably good cheap basic pick up , does what it says on the tin. Very tight fit on my sound hole which is of the size it states it fits, which it did eventually with a lot of effort. I couldnt get to sit diagonally across the sound hole however without dropping into the guitar, then again it doesnt state this is possible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
