The Best!!!
Having been a fan of doing my own shellac/gel manicures for a couple of years now. I mistakenly didn't take much notice of my nail health and ended up with very thin and bendy, breakable nails. I tried a few much cheaper builder gels but they didn't work for me. I asked for this one as a birthday present & haven't looked back. The product was really easy to use. Not like some which are akin to golden syrup. The included brush was an added bonus too. A tiny amount went on like a dream. Just turn your hand over for a few seconds, as it is self levelling. I did three coats on my flimsy nails, after base coat. After the curing I added my chosen colour then the top coat. In two weeks the colour is still chip free, (I used a mixture of base and ultra shine top by bluesky and GDI colour). My nails are finally growing again and are as hard as cement. Definitely recommended. Wonderful product. Transformed my flimsy nails. My nails had become so thin from filing them down due to my at-home shellac/gel manicures. They are solid now and have started growing again. I used a Bluesky basecoat, three layers of NYK1 (2 should be sufficient). I used GDI colour and a bluesky top coat. Two and a half weeks later, no chips, nails are growing well, solid as a rock. Highly recommended.Read full review

A easy product to work with
Many of the gels I researched for an LED lamp are hard gels which you have to file off. This is a soak off gel which you can use to extend your nails with a tip or forms, as well as over natural nails. I have done it both ways since I got it and it works fine. I would not say this is as strong as a hard gel, but that it kind of why I wanted it. Put it on, two weeks later, soak the whole lot off. I like the option of being able to add nail tips. People said it smells bad. To me it smells like wet emulsion paint, but dont all products for nails stink? I currently have it on under gel polish and my nails look great. The seller I used sent a really great instruction booklet - glossy with lots of info about how to do different things with the nails eg when the remove the sticky layer, when not to, adding base coats etc. If you are prone to lifting , which I am as I have oily nails and dont always prepare them properly, you will get some lifting but no more than with other gel systems. This is a good inbetween product. Way stronger than gel polish, not as strong as hard gel or acyrlic. Nails are in good condition after you take it off.Read full review
