This fully illustrated 20-page Star Trek: The Official Starships magazine covers the U.S.S. Intrepid. The Intrepid was an United Earth Intrepid-type starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-22nd century. The ship's motto was "In Mare In Clo" ("Into the Sea In the Sky"). The Intrepid was constructed and placed into service by the year 2153 when it would be under the command of Captain Ramirez. In 2153, the Intrepid, along with two other starships, aided the returning Enterprise on its way back to Earth while it was under attack by a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. Good replica
I used to subscribe to the Starship collection, but there were too many issues I didn't care for (eg. ships from Enterprise). Now I pick & choose via eBay. This model is a neat replica of Khan's sleeper ship from Space Seed. Finely detailed and well-made. The stand supplied can be used to mount the ship (but, for met, this never quite works perfectly). I prefer to keep them in the boxes received. 10/10
