Well Made and does the job - but one fatal flaw
Have used this on severel occassions to catch, one by one, a family of rats. It worked flawlessly on three occassions, but on the fourth occassion, the rat was able to "do a Houdini" and escape, although this seemed impossible. The fatal flaw in the design - which would be useful if it was reliable, is the addition of secondary entrance which once the main entrance has sprung closed after trapping a rat, works like a one-way cat flap. to trap a second rat. The animal manipulated this to escape. Rats are intelligent creatures ! I would recommend fixing this secondary entrance permanently in the closed position.
