Definitely an improvement
From when I first fired the bike up it sounded different and seemed to be running smoother. On my first 180 mile motorway run after installation the bike ran noticeably better with a better throttle response and acceleration. Bike seemed happy and keen. On my next fill up I found I had slightly better mpg despite being more free with my throttle hand, compared to the last trip (180 miles in opposite direction). 52.8 vs 52.4mpg.
