VW Golf MK4 subframe
The subframe is an exact replacement for the factory subframe on a VW Golf MK4 2.0 GTi. It takes about an hour to replace if you're using an impact wrench. The item is well painted, so will not rust immediately. (Note: I used 2 jack stands in my driveway to replace this item)

Looks good
It certainly looks identical to the original and everything fitted. It was a fraction of the cost quoted by VW so I suppose time will tell if it is the same quality. Having said that the original VW part has corroded away so this one will probably easily last as long.
