simple, yet effective
This South Bend telescopic rod holder is lightweight, inexpensive, easy to pack and fairly durable. It extends out long enough for the 8' rod i was using it with. I prefer it to the other types of rod holders because there's no size restriction. Just stick it in the ground and watch your line for movement. Now we're fishing!
