"Siberian education" is a strange type of "education". It is a criminal education, but with precise and, sometimes surprisingly shareable, rules of honor. The story takes place in a region of the south of Russia and embraces a period of time from 1985 to 1995. In those years, one of the most important changes in our contemporary history took place: the fall of the Berlin Wall and the consequent disappearance of the Soviet Union with all that this event then involved in the economic and social relations of the entire planet. Inspired by the novel of the same name by Nicolai Lilin, in which the author tells his childhood and his adolescence within a community of "honest criminals" Siberian, as they themselves love to define themselves, the film tells the story of boys who go from childhood.
