Never a Soggy Bottom
I have a number of these quiche tins and wanted to buy the 30cm size as a present for my son in Germany. Alas these are no longer made for Lakeland, so I checked out eBay. Yes you have to suspend belief about a tin full of holes but after you brush the tin with melted butter there are no leakages whatsoever when in the oven. There is an odd drip through on the kitchen counter before I line with pastry, but that is all. Quiches bake superbly well, with never a soggy bottom.
