Omron Blood Pressure Monitor Review
I have used this HEM-712C Monitor for several years and reported the numbers to my doctor. Because the Kirkland batteries from Costco leaked the unit failed. The batteries were rated good until 2030 but failed in the first year and caused the unit to fail. I purchased a AC Omron 712C power cord but the unit only worked for a few minuted and died. So, I bought this one on E-bay. I has been working perfectly since it was delivered and I power it with the AC OMRON 712C power cord. NICE product. I will return to E-bay for other needs as the service is stellar. It is easy to place your arm in the Cuff and press the Start Button. I take 3 BP Readings and give the doctor the average of the 3. Do no buy used
I would only purchase this new, I purchased two used ones that appear to work but the readings were incorrect. Scared the heck out of me, I ran to the doctor to double check my blood pressure as this unit had it reading well about 150 every time. A good meter and a good value.
I have a different BP monitor, but started wondering if it was failing, since the numbers I get at therapy are different from what I was getting at home. I decided to get a replacement meter. I looked for an Omron, since they seem to be among the best available. Once I received it I found that the readings it gave were really close to my old meter.
