Quality Lacking
There were two issues that I had with this product. The DIN connector on the TS480 is in a relatively narrow and deep setback from the panel and doesn't allow much clearance between the sides of the "entrance hole" for the mating DIN cable. The cable that I received very obviously used a pre molded body around the DIN connector which was manually abraded by the manufacturer in an attempt to provide the required clearance to allow unrestricted access into the TS480 DIN connector. Unfortunately the amount of abrasion wasn't sufficient to get the molded body into the TS480 DIN connector without making contact with the wall of the entrance hole in the TS480. This condition resulted in the use of extreme force to get the connector into the hole and then properly align it. Then to compound the problem it turned out that the pin alignment of the cable DIN did not match up with the TS480 DIN which resulted in the pins having to bend as the DIN connector was inserted. This was very obvious when I finally removed the connector. I was in a hurry to get my power amplifier on line and working with my TS480 and after considerable "jimmying" of the connector and considerable force beyond what would be considered normal I did get the cable DIN to mate and I was able to use my amp but I would not recommend this cable to anyone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
