Glorious Devon, generally speaking that is!
The pinnacle of EFE progress. Unlike the earlier series 2/3 VR model the body on this model is a complete one piece casting. It is still held together by the usual poles through the middle of the model but they are blackened so as to not be as obvious as in the past. There is a wealth of detail such as the cab light above the driver and ticket machine, rear view mirrors and seating units treated to painted red seat covers. Top of seats are highlighted with silver to represent the handrails which with the cream colour for other panels make it stand out more than most other models. The red and cream livery add to the charm of the model and at around £35 or less it is still value for money.
