I began using this product to prevent damage to tapestries and wall hangings, as it was recommended by dealers. Moths stay way from everything sprayed with it. I spray them 2 or 3 times a year, and it doesn't cause damage or staining to the items treated. Recently used it to kill fleas and spiders too, worked instantly. Great on irreplaceable items and it is safe.
It was suggested, SLA Cedar scented Spray, by a dear friend, who sold me her Navajo natural wool and plant dye rug weavings. She stated to spray inside a large plastic trash bag, wait a few seconds and place one of the blankets at a time (mine are large), in the sprayed bag, to kill any moths/ beetles egg larva and it works! And leave them in there about 15 minutes...Pull out the blankets shake them and rehang or drape...I have had these blankets ten years and not a bite from a bug....
