This felt rather flimsy and though was advertised as to fit my dryer model number it was too short in length to lock into the tank fixture on the inner door. I was informed that Hoover had changed the model so if you are ordering this just check that the serial number indicates the correct item. Good service though I had to return it. Obviously it says genuine Hoover part so I suspect they are compromising quality but it’s no use if it does not fit. I managed to order the correct part from Curry’s and the plastic is thicker and more substantial but most importantly it fits.
