Little Fwend Tonearm Lifter Little Fwend is an automatic end-of-the-record tonearm lifter. It is a precision engineered accessory for manual turntables that will prolong the life of your stylus and takes about 10 minutes to install. Little Fwend will work for all tonearms with gimbal, unipivot, dual-pivot and string suspension bearing (incl. Well Tempered Labs), but not linear tracking tonearms. For safety, power off the turntable motor. Please measure the distance from mounting/plinth surface up to the underside of tonearm wand. Take the measurement when the tonearm has correct VTA and the needle is in the groove. Subtract approx. 1mm from this distance, to make sure there will be safe clearance between the rubber beam and the moving tonearm. See full mounting .

Delicate and lightwieght, but extremely effective.
I should have bought this a long time ago. It was very easy to set up on my vintage Rega Planar 3, and works every time with no issue. I think the only thing is (and this is not a fault of the device), I am loathed to use any kind of adhesive to attach it to the turntable plinth, so instead have used a couple of small balls of blu-tac, one at the front, and one at the back. I was also surprised at how light-wieght it was, for the hefty price, but because it works as well as it does, I waiver that slight criticism. I will be purchasing another in the not too distant future for my classic Goldring Lenco GL75 as well. Recommended without hesitation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little addition for a manual turntable,it’s quite tricky to set up and lots of time and patience required. Once installed and the fine tuning is done it works a treat.
