    Great but could be better!

This treadmill is nearly the perfect item, if the running track could have been slightly wider! For the price, it has everything you might need and performs very well once the running belt is properly adjusted. Not wishing to over-tighten, you need to carefully adjust a quarter turn (left & right) at a time. During this process, I repeatedly tried to run on the belt but found it slipped which I found quite un-nerving, as this makes you very unstable for a moment. Once the belt was sufficiently tight, it performed seamlessly, at which point, all I had to do was concentrate on keeping my running position central. I occasionally veered left or right and found that I could easily catch the left or right side-boards with my feet! This would obviously cause an instant brake and unsettle my running until I restored to the central running line. So my problem not the machine, although as I say, if the running belt were to be slightly wider, this would give much greater comfort and confidence when exercising.

  • Most critical review

Ideal for walking briskly, not for running.

Arrived on time and packaged well, albeit extremely heavy which is to be expected. Easy to get up and running quickly due to detailed instructions. Decent portability when wheeling it across rooms. Significantly reduces footprint when folded away. Recurring issue when running beyond speeds of about 9km/h as the running belt slips under your feet too often to run safely. While increasing the incline reduces this, the belt is too unstable to run on at higher speeds without needing to hold the handrails. Walking experience is ideal and the incline provides a good amount of resistance.

  • Great Treadmill

I used to go to the gym alot but now I have a 2 year old its quite a mission. I was quite apprehensive about buying a treadmill but best think I've done. It's easy to put together, not bulky, folds away easy. Great peice of equipment for the price. If you're a experienced runner the incline is manual. So not like ones you get in the gym. But for keeping fit its great.

  • Surprisingly good

To be honest for this price i wasn't expecting much but this is a proper bit of kit. Small enough to fold up out of the way yet very sturdy. Various speeds, modes, programs and adjustment available, somewhere to pop your drink and a lead to plug your phone/ipod in to built in speakers. The speakers are not so good but I use headphones anyway. Overall I think it's a great piece of kit.

  • Early days

Very pleased with the Prestige sports XM-Pro III. Seems good value for money. So far a couple of negatives in that the hole on the securing bracket and the threaded hole for the locking bolt for when running surface is down do not line up accurately. This has caused slight damage to the bolt thread. Other minor issue is the sound quality from the speakers us very tinny, so won't use but not miss much. Positives would be the number of set programs and the incline adjustment (very easy to do manually) is good for the price.

  • XM PRO III

Really pleased with this item. My husband has been off his legs for a number of years and this is just what he needs to regain some mobility. It is easy to use and he can use it at his own speed. I have also used it, but much faster, to help me lose some extra pounds. Very sturdy and professional looking.

  • Absolutely great for me!

Small unit can be easily folded and fit anywhere, has small wheels to move around if you need. The running platform is just good size for my short legs. The monitor is simple to use but can take various programmes. Perfect for my morning joggings. It is a great value for money.

  • good for a first treadmill

the programmes are good. it easlily folds away. Its easy to set up. it can get a bit noisy when u go over 6kmh but it doesnt wake my kids up. The only issue with the treadmill is the slot for the mp3 player is too shallow for my samsung s6 phone and the emergency pull cord is right behind the slot so the phone kept on bouncing out if i went over 5km/hour

  • Good mill

Not quite as sturdy as my previous Reebok treadmill but it does the job. It has a good size running belt, it's not one of the handkerchief sized ones, the belt being 400 mm wide. When not in use it folds easily into a small area and is not very heavy weighing less than 40Kgs. It is quiet in use and the pulse monitor is accurate and useful.. For the money, really good value and if I have to pick on something a bit poor then it has to be the Mp3 player speakers ,that sound really tinny. The machine I have is the XM Pro Dynamic and that is an upgrade model. Different to the XM PRO111 in that it has a few more fitness programs and a different control panel. The motor, belt size and other mechanical bits are the same. If however you are looking for a Gym machine and are going to be pounding away for hours, then might I suggest that you spend your money accordingly and put the thousand pounds+ on one of those machines. .This product is a very good treadmill for average use and it suits me as an occasional user not a fitness fanatic

  • Easy set up

Good quality basic treadmill, easy to set up and use, not too big for a bedroom with other gym equipment installed but big enough running area. Don't rely on the speakers for sound as the quality is not good, however don't let that out you off buying it as it is worth the money
