Nice harp, not perfect.
The tone and ease of play are very good, but with a small footnote. I have found that, as the instrument gets warm during play, some of the reeds become less responsive, especially at the higher end of the scale. It is my guess that the metal parts are expanding slightly, with the effect of compressing the reeds and making them a little tighter. This might not be noticeable if you were playing at higher volume, but when playing softly, the effect is fairly obvious.
Otherwise, I am very pleased. The steel reeds don't produce as rich a sound as the brass reeds seem to on other harps I've used, but the tuning is extremely precise, and everything at the lower end of the scale is responsive to bending and overblowing.
I'm not sure why Fender decided to stop selling this model. All they seem to have now is their really cheap "blues" harp. If they wanted to hold up their reputation, you'd think they would quit selling harmonicas altogether or maintain a quality line.
