Lyman ladel
Compared to the Lee Dipper, night and day. Can poor way more without stopping to clean, its easier to hit the fill hole, less sprue run off and easy to clean. When u parafin your lead, put the parafin in the ladel instead. Let it melt in the ladel and swish it around, then pour the melted parafin on top the lead and dip the ladel a few times..it'll clean right up, then skim your lead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the Money

Perfect Factory Quality Bullets!
Had been casting big heavy bullets with a bottom spout pot and not having much success. The heating element wouldn't keep the lead temperature up and the spout would clog. Since purchasing this product I dip and cast straight from a large cast iron melting pot to produce some of the prettiest bullets I've ever cast. The spout allows for a precision pour into the mold and holds enough lead to cast two 500 gr. 45-70 bullets with each pass. It pours hot and direct with a quick fill of the mold. Lyman Lead Dipper
This is a nice lead dipper with the option for either right or left handed people. The wood handle is a little small for my liking and the rivet that holds the handle onto the stem had sharp edges that needed to be filed smooth. I prefer the handle on my RCBS lead dipper but I prefer the dipper itself on the Lyman. All in all a good dipper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lead dipper
The tool did exactly what it was designed to do for my application (slugging barrels and chambers). But I had to be doubly aware of where the spigot was when melting slugging metal.
