Better sound without voiding your warranty
I have a 2017 S3 that came with the stock exhaust configuration. The test mule S3 that I drove had the resonator delete kit installed on it. After the comparison it was a no brainer. They all should have this delete kit installed, factory. The sound is not "louder", it is a "deeper" tone. In Comfort mode it is barely noticeable over stock. In Dynamic / Sport mode it is very audible. A muffler shop could chop up your exhaust and weld in a piece of generic pipe for a lot less, but this piece is the Audi OEM kit stamped with their serial numbers, etc. if your warranty is important, this is the best way to go without risking it. The dealerships bolt this part in after port delivery as an option. You can install it yourself in about 15-20 minutes with hand tools on a garage floor. Audi wants 1-2 hours of labor to do this for you.. it's post-sensor so there's not much you can mess up short of sledgehammering the pipe into a crumpled mess.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

OEM Audi part that noticably improves an already great car
Did research on this part and decided it was a no brainer. Audi obviously had this in mind for enthusiasts as it's an official aftermarket part. Had a local shop install it on our APR-tuned S3 and this makes the car sound better. Not too loud but the DSG shifts are a bit more pronounced and sound is a bit deeper without being annoying. So this is an item that I had contemplated for a while against going for a complete downpipe. My issue was that my vehicle is still under warranty and most dealers don't look too kindly upon tuned vehicles in South Africa. This was an incredible buy. It completely changes the sound of the vehicle. Granted that I do have an intake system as well as a plug n play. So the additional boost does make it sound a lot better than stock standard installations. Nonetheless, this is an item I feel that Audi should have made an option upon purchasing the vehicle. It makes that much of a difference. The best bits are experienced under Sport Mode with the exhaust flaps open. Up-Shifts are more entertaining and dare I say sound better than the A45 counterparts. 2015 S3 Progressive Canada Fantastic
Best mod I could have ever done. No drone at all in comfort mode up to 3000 rpm but once I switch it to dynamic upshifts sounds absolutely insane with a burble sounds Downshifts don’t pop but are better than stock. I Highly recommend this product

A must have.
Truly a must have part. Adds the right amount of sound to the car, not over the top or obnoxious in any way. Cold starts are sweet, and you can her the exhaust reverberate off buildings and in tunnels. The car should have this stock. Period. No drone either. This OEM resonator delete kit is just about perfect. Price is very reasonable for an OEM piece. It makes the exhaust a little bit louder and deeper sounding. The stock exhaust is way to quiet for a performance vehicle. This is how the car should sound stock. Not loud or overbearing in any way.
