The transformation is truly amazing. I must admit I have fitted a 210 cca battery in place of the standard 190 but that was just for peace of mind. Your kit is spot on . You must use both your original end casings and Armature.

Easy starter
I converted my starter to the 4brush version. This used a Harley Davidson starter which I had to change parts over to the original one. I found the work was easy and the instructions clear and concise. The difference it made was instantly noticeable with easy starting and not taking power from the electronic ignition. If you are comfortable with this kind of task, then the job of fitting the four coil upgrade using this kit will not be difficult for you. It's good quality and seemed very well constructed. Copmmando Starter Motor
Instructions could be better, you need both end caps and the armature from your old Norton starter . Move the brushes round one slot to start with as they do run backwards. It works brilliantly, first time my Norton has ever spun up quickly when dead cold and started. Cannot praise this product enough.
