Great value responsive mouse!
I love my mouse! It was bought as a gift to replace a previous Microsoft mouse that no longer worked that I had had for several years, and I'm so glad that I got this one! It is easy to use, just plug the dongle in and you're ready to go. The movement is smooth and flawless. It is very responsive and there is no input lag that I have noticed. The mouse is very comfortable in the hand and has a lovely soft touch on the sides, with a smooth feel on top, it also fits in my hand perfectly, I would say I have medium/ large size ladies hands. There are three buttons; left, right and scroll wheel button, as well as the scroll wheel being used to scroll. It is easy to switch the mouse off to preserve the battery life; there is a small switch underneath, there is also room in the battery compartment to store the dongle if taking the mouse out and about. The cyan blue colour is lovely in my opinion and brightens up my desk area. I have only had the mouse for just over a week so I can't comment on the battery life, but if its anything like my previous mouse it should last a decent amount of time. It takes one AA battery, which is included. Overall a great mouse, definitely worth the money and I would highly recommend.

A comfortable and practical unit
This optical mouse fits comfortably into the hand. The indentations on each side aid grip and its use is never tiring. It is very responsive and positive in conveying movement to the computer. The on/off switch is well placed and easy to access. A plus is the use of the larger single AA battery for power rather than the lower capacity AAA batteries used by other models. The colour is also pleasing. The only drawback is the lack of a slot to store the tiny USB needed for the wireless link, which could therefore be easily lost.

Nice mouse and inexpensive to buy.
Comfortable mouse, easy to use and responsive. The tiny sender unit fits unobtrusively into a USB socket of your PC or laptop. The MS Mobile Mouse 3500 is very slightly shorter than the MS Mobile Mouse 4000, but has a proper rubber scroll wheel rather than the 4000's thick rubber band over a hard plastic scroll wheel, which I was actively seeking to avoid buying again as this has proven to be the 4000's weak spot (as the rubber band always perishes and breaks off, leaving the small hard plastic wheel underneath behind). This mouse takes just 1 AA battery and is extremely easy on the juice, requiring replacement only every 2 months even when in full-time / 8 hr a day use. Not sure about the gloss light blue body - looks tacky to me but should be easy to keep clean and I couldn't argue with the price. I bought this for my Company already knowing what I was getting as I'd already bought the rather more tasteful looking silver and black version of this product for my own PC. I'd have bought the silver and black one again given the chance, but everywhere wanted twice the price of this blue model to buy one, so that took it out of the running.

Very good and excellently made.
Very good bit of kit but I would like a light to fitted to the top of the mouse to remind you that it is switched on. It is very easy to forget to switch it off, especially when you are busy doing lots things. It is also made for somebody who has small hands. 4.5 out of a total of 5.

Easy to use straight out of the pack. Smaller mouse which is ideal for laptop use. Buttons and wheels have positive click and roll feel. Optical mouse, so works on different surfaces. USB connector slots nicely into base of battery compartment for safety and location, so you remember where you put it if removed!!

The best basic mouse ever
This was inexpensive but SO right. I'm not 100% a Microsoft fan, but sometimes they release a great product that works perfectly, and this is it. Is has two buttons and a basic scrolling wheel, but they all feel so solid and superbly manufactured. Well done Microsoft on this one, keep up the great work!
