If you can find one, buy it.
As a purely gaming keyboard, which this was originally billed as, it isn't as good as some more modern offerings which have mechanical keys with higher roll-over etc. and faster response times. But where it steals the limelight is with the colour screen which, via applets (which you can write yourself) can add an extra dimension to your gameplan, such as showing your stats, map or other in game features. The screen can also be used to view video, play music, monitor your system's resources or as a simple clock. Additionally, it features programmable keys ("G" keys) which can either be programmed via a macro record button or setup via the supplied software to act as shortcut keys. This can be as simple as launching a browser or as complicated as equipping your in game character with all the armor and weapons loadout for a mission.
The keyboard is supplied with a removable wrist rest and, of course, has flip down get to adjust the rake angle.
The keys are well spaced and full-sized and responsive. They are as adept at steering you through the gamescape for capture the flag, as they are at capturing your latest novel.
The keyboard also features backlit keys for those late night sessions and the RGB lights can be customised to whatever hue suits your mood.
Overall this is an excellent keyboard and is still the one I measure all others by. If you see one buy it.
