Difficult but Good for the Price

To prevent your Gmyle keyboard's bluetooth connection from dropping out and requiring a computer restart and possibly re-pairing of your keyboard, don't let it sit unused for more than 5 minutes. If you are going to stop using it for more than 5 minutes, turn it off. Then, when you need to use it again, turn it back on. It will take 5-15 seconds for it to come back to life after turning it on. Wear that slider switch out on the bottom of the keyboard if necessary. This has been working for me.
Now that I know how to prevent this keyboard from stopping working and requiring me to restart my computer, I'm happy with it. I selected a white keyboard so I can see the keys at night with the lights turned off, and that works.
I almost gave up on my Gmyle bluetooth keyboard - almost. I'm using it on a Windows 10 Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 laptop, and I like it. The keyboard is very compact, so maybe my small hands have a lot to do with me liking it. But the feel of the keys seems good to me. I can type quickly without making mistakes. I can reliably hit the backspace key, the tab key, the delete key, and the shift key without looking or thinking about it too much. The arrow keys are well laid out. I deliberately selected a white keyboard so I can see the keys in a dimly lit room at night. I have a Logitech K400R keyboard, and I hate it. The keys are mushy, I'm always missing the keys I'm trying to hit, and I can't see the keys at night with the lights off. None of this happens with the Gmyle keyboard.
So why did I almost give up on it?
The bluetooth connection kept dropping out. I would pair the keyboard with my laptop, use it for a while, and then let it sit. After sitting for 15 minutes or so unused, it would stop working. Nothing would happen when I touched the pad or pressed a key. For 2 or 3 times, I could bring it back to life by cycling the power switch, but after 2 or 3 times even that wouldn't work. Sometimes, even restarting the computer wouldn't work. I would have to remove the Gmyle from the list of bluetooth devices, restart my computer, and pair it up again. I thought I had wasted my money. But I kept trying. I started turning the keyboard off almost every time I laid it down using the slider switch on the bottom. Then, when I picked it up again, I would turn it back on. This has been working. It never seems to permanently lose a connection like it did when I let it sit for a long time unused. I think this is acceptable, especially considering the cost of the keyboard and the good feel of the keys. The touchpad is acceptable, but I've never used a touchpad that I really like. The Gmyle touchpad is as good as the Logitech touchpad. Be patient, and you can learn to use it better. For example, I found that if I roll my index, middle, and ring finger on the touchpad – IOW, in quick succession, touch and hold the index finger, then the middle finger, then the ring finger – an icon pops up for scrolling. The further you drag under the icon, the faster you scroll down. The further you drag above the icon, the faster you scroll up. Same thing left and right. If you tap quickly, the icon disappears and you stop scrolling. Also, if you press with your index finger and then very quickly tap your middle finger, the right-click menu will pop up. I can't do it all the time, but I would say 80% of the time, I can make it do what I want. Still, nothing beats a mouse with a scroll wheel.
