Fox spomb
Bought these as the spomb I had caught in a tree and broke off, I went round to try and recover it and it had disappeared in to the depths, these however float! They are also easy to fill as only about a 1/4 opens allowing you to put more in,and the trigger mechanism is separate so can't get clogged,better by a long way than the originals

I wish I had seen this before I bought it, otherwise I would have gone for a spomb. The 'quality' is shocking. The plastic feels thin and cheap. The hinge spring feels weak. FOUR casts of munga and the pin securing the hinge spring came apart. It had pulled out of the plastic. Very very poor from Fox. Im not impressed. Looking on various forums and it seem a common theme. As carpers we pay a premium price on these types of equipment, we should expect these things to at least work. So thats this and a Fox exocet marker float that didnt work. No more Fox purchases from me.

Great value and works very well
This is the second one I have purchased. I now have the small and large size. I have a great success on the larger one, but it is slightly too big for winter fishing so that’s the reason for buying the small one. I am very happy with my purchase.

Improved over the original spomb
A lot easier to load as you can scoop and not worry about bait getting caught in tbe catch mechanism too much. Sweetcorn and hemp do sometimes get caught though...
