MWC SKU Code: GG -W-113. In January 2009 MWC was approached by a US veterans association who asked us to examine the viability of making a watch which was indistinguishable in appearance from the original watches which were made by Hamilton, Bulova and Benrus during the Vietnam war.

A practical and historic Vietnam War military watch!
A very well done replica of a mid '60s US military watch as issued to pilots and other military personel. The satin finish of the stainless steel case has a subtle gold-green tint and the back has the military style information engraved into it. The dial is an accurate presentation of the original and very easy to read. The 36mm is in keeping with the correct size for the period, not overly large and clunky like so many modern “military” watches. The GG-W-113 watch has the excellent Seiko NH-35A movement which likely exceeds the original mil-spec. Two Zulu straps are included. This watch has a definite presence on your wrist so reminiscent of the Vietnam war, imbued as it is with the drama of that conflict. In this respect it is rather spooky! It is a well built and reliable watch, a great daily wear timepiece, lightweight, practical, and historic. It’s stark simplicity is always in style. I have fancier mil-spec watches but this Vietnam-style watch is a special favorite.
