good time
this timer is good value but the display is a bit small, once installed it is a pain to see what is on the display a torch is handy thing to have at hand, instruction are basic but timer is easy to install by a good sparky, and only took 90mins from start to finish would have been alot quicker if the inlet for power etc was on the side not the back had to get a mounting plate made to mount the timer to made cable entry easier......how long it will last have no idea but for value can't complain. shame they do not offer a good warranty......Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A little disappointed
This was bought to replace an old Smiths mechanical timer that had ceased working. First impressions were that the unit was small with a small display. When I did the install I found the unit is held into the casing by the terminal clips which are push fit. Due to the weight of cables required, these tend to push against the casing and the unit leaving a gap at the top as the connections are at the bottom, not great really given the current drawn. With hind sight I should have spent a bit more and bought a better unit. So far it does work perfectly though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good ood fitures but small
Good because = It's easy to install = Various setting options during the day = Various days during the week or everyday Bad because = The screen is small (the whole box is compact) = Cables going in and out from the same direction. I wished there was one entry from top and an exit from bottom which I feel is a lot safer. Hoped for Better
Likes - Price, small size, bayonet connections and works. Dislikes - Small but deep box makes for difficult working in, body connections only secured by single plastic weld (one came loose during fitting), instructions printed in dark grey on off white card that had been folded multiple times and were in parts confusing. Good but physically bigger would be better
Functionality is good and it has screw terminals rather than spade/crimp connections which is good. It would be better if everything was a bit bigger.
