Awesome Replacement...the old had its many flushes
Things wear out you know...we've been scraping the calcium deposits every six months or so to keep it flushing...my wife having the smaller hands especially around that bottom seal....but this time anything we did to the old flush valve didn't work...the water kept on running...so we ordered this new one...i installed it with my wife supervising and it worked like a champ...flushing away...the problem is our aquifer that is naturally filtered with limestone in our San Antonio TX area...it will leave a calcium deposit...so every six months or so (mark it on your calendar) we scrub those tiny little scales out with our fingernails of all things...fast and easy once i take the flush Valve out...easy to take out...easy to put...UTUBE it or Google it to find out how to diy...saves you a call to the plumber.
