Bristan quality but a correctable design problem with this particular model.
Bristan taps are always well made but this particular one has a design fault. The taps open by turning them clockwise, the opposite of the normal direction. It is highly annoying and constantly confuses anyone not expecting it. Bristan are aware of the problem and will send replacement valves free of charge. This is a faf and obviously involves extra work to fit them. However, I buy Bristan because they do have good customer care which is important.

My wife and I have had a few kitchens fitted over the years, and of course you cannot single out the tap unit as the singular most important item of the whole. That said having stood back and taken in the whole package, this unit stands out head and shoulders over other units. It just fits ! It looks both contemporary/retro at the same time. It neither dominates/overpowers it's settings and is so easy to use. Go for it
