Having never used this product before, I cant comment on how long it will last for. If you want a natural looking fence colour then this just about the only product out there that you can buy in bulk if you have a lot fencing to treat. I worked out how many tins of the coloured fence treatments I would need, and it was a lot, Plus I did not really want go harvest brown or dark brown or green, so found this which is clear, and leaves the fence looking as natural as possible. I treated on section first to see what it came up like, it does' not make it look like it brand new IE: tantalised look, but it does make it look darker than the sun faded , bleached effect it was. it just looks natural but almost wet finish, which is fine. Time to go paint all the rest of my fencing now. time will tell on how long it last. Oh nearly forgot, its a bit thick for a normal compressed air spray gun, Unless you have a big nozzle / jet spray gun, so I used a my compressed air parts washer, which seems to work well and gives an even coat.

  • Decking oil awesome for fences!

Painted my fencing today. 15 panels used 10 litres. 15 more panels to do. Covers well with one coat soaks in nicely. Retains a natural effect. And should protect for a long time compared to the usual water based rubbish fence paints. Just prepare your area well. As it will stain concrete and fence posts as its oil! I used lots of cardboard.

  • Amazing product

I was amazed so easy to use and with each brush stroke my garden fence was transformed from a dry dull gray wood to a beautiful healthy looking fence in minutes

  • Does what it says on the tin at a fraction of the cost

Bought 25L. It arrived when they said it would. It does what it says it will. I'm no expert but it seems good quality and covered well taking approx 15L for approx 60m2 (2 coats) and I wasn't frugal with it at all. My only issue was trying to get the lid off. The container has an awkward design which does not allow easy access to the lid. I would definitely buy again as it beats the household names hands down on price.

Good price and its easy to use. I used it on a shed and it coats easily and penetrates the wood for a lovely rich finish. Will continue with this product in the future.

  • Great Stuff

I have a stable block that has not been treated for a few years, the last time we treated it was with some water based rubbish that did virtually no good. This tiny. I pressure washed all that off and did them with Cedar cladding oil and they've come up like new! Very impressed.

  • Reviving Cedar Cladding Wood on building

The wood was looking quite dull so we jet washed off to bring back the colour and used the Cedar Cladding oil to finish. Easy to apply. The results 7 months later still looks like the Cedar is new and the appearance is fantastic. Will probably do this once a year to keep the wood looking nice and to protect from the elements.
