This system gives guarantees to the Customer and signals to everyone, with maximum transparency, the reliability of us sellers. We remind you that upon delivery of the goods, after a dutiful check of what has been received, the Customer is required to give POSITIVE feedback... and don't forget the STARS!!. If you are happy with it, always release the maximum (5). For most buyers, assigning a rating of 4 stars out of 5 is considered a very positive point. For Ebay, on the contrary, this is not an entirely positive vote, but little more than sufficient. Obviously we will do the same with you as a buyer!!! If you have encountered PROBLEMS, OF ANY NATURE, dependent or not dependent on us, please contact us BEFORE RELEASE OF FEEDBACK to resolve the problem together and in the best possible way.
An old kit, but one of a few that had Dutch markings, especially in the past. The moulds for this kit have withstood the test of time well and the assembly is simple and pleasant. A big improvement is in the area of masking where this kit is supplied with a set of masks to cover the windows with before painting. Unfortunately you have the cut the sometimes minute masks out yourself and you spend several minutes growling when you apply the masks and attempt to keep them all in line. But once used, the end result does look a lot better!
Overall the painting instructions are clear, but are found wanting if you decide (like me) to build the Dutch version. There is only a colourscheme supplied for both the US or the RAF version and I had to spend some time scouring the net to get one for the Dutch pilot. (For someone who wnats to do the Dutch version, use the US pilot figure and paint the flightsuit khaki and his helmet black). Also the camouflage colouring is plain wrong for the Dutch version. The top of the aircraft should be painted with Olive Drab and Dark Green and the bottom with a flat aluminium.
Other than that, this kit shows plenty of detail and assembles well and in the end will be a great addition to your airfleet. Definitely recommended!
This kit dates back to1974 but shows how Tamiya were ahead of the game as its still a great kit, well detailed with no flash and goes together with no fit issues.
