The only reason I have left 4 stars & not 5 is because I cut my hand cleaning it after lunch as there's a rough rim all around the inside. This is a good looking item, will be ok on the table when entertaining, easy to clean and will shine up well. Lighter than a lot of conventional gravy boats, and as double sided, with a lid should keep any liquid warm for longer. I also feel that on a hot summer day might work for a shortish period for ice cubes, and maybe cream. It's mostly made of satin finished chrome, with a high polished chrome effect plastic handle and lid, but does not look at all plastic or cheap, but in fact it looks expensive and classy!
