Katie Watkins, a former technical writer, writing teacher, and corporate writing trainer, now spends her days racing cars, digging in mud, and building block towers with her three young sons. She holds both a B.A. and M.A. in English from Brigham Young University. She lives in Orange County, California. Lester Lee, full-time artist and educator, has won numerous local and national awards for his paintings and sculptures. He has illustrated several children's books and book covers, and he sells hundreds of pieces of fine art watercolors each year. He received a B.F.A. from Utah State University and an M.A. from Brigham Young University.
