The Datatool Evo is a sophisticated motorcycle alarm and immobiliser. When armed, its motion and voltage sensors trigger the customisable alarm siren when movement is detected or the bike is being started. It offers several modes, such as Transport Mode, which disables the motion sensor, and Panic Mode, which enables you to manually trigger the alarm from the remote control. Demon Evo
Very easy to fit and assemble but the instructions are rubbish and not very clear! I have fitted it to my bike but cannot set it up so I have take the fuse out. For me it was a waste of money. Too expensive, low value.
Not loud enough if you put it under the seat. Should be placed in open air to be really annoying. ...and audible from the house. The signal of the remotes are ridiculously weak, barely works for the first press and not at all above a few meters away. The sensitivity is moderate, even on the highest setting. Maybe the software is filtering the events, but I would expect it to go off to every push or knock on the highest setting. If it wasn't the reputable name and the insurer approval, then I would go with a cheap alarm instead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very easy to fit provided there is room under the seat . My bike a Yamaha MT 09 is a bit tight under the seat but I still got it in without too much trouble. The Datatool evo alarm system is quick and easy to install, even for someone as cack handed as me. Two wires to the battery and one for the flashing light to let you know the alarm status. Easy to fit and fit for purpose
This is the third one of these I’ve bought and fitted to other bikes. Although this new one is now installed in another bike, the bike has not been used, so only time will tell. I have been very pleased with the others, regarding reliability and performance, although there are visual aspects of the new one that point to it being produced more cheaply.
