Works great for the price point
I purchased this for music therapy for a nursing home patient- she hasn't listened to music since she was brought in (several years) and she sometimes has trouble getting some privacy. Being able to put headphones in and listen to tunes from her prime years has improved her quality of life so much! This player is lightweight, has good battery life according to my patient, picks up radio signals clearly, and seems to play MP3's without a hitch. The only drawback is that sometimes the touchscreen can be kind of hinky, which is to be expected for the money. Eclipse T180 4GB MP3 Player is hard to use
Instead of buttons all selections are on the touch screen, and it is very hard to get the screen to react. It needs a lot of finger pressure using the triangular piece of plastic against the screen, to make a selection. Doing so hurts my fingers. And it takes many tries to make a selection. Good MP3 player
The T180 MP3 and radio sound is good. It has option to plays one folder or all folders. Response when tapping on the screen is not that good. A guitar pick is provided with a string to attach it to the T180. Using the pick get a better response, but still somehow slow. One draw back is that it does not remember where it was when you turn it off. When it is powered up the menu always appear. It would be nice if it remembered what function it had when powered off. Not sure how long the battery last as I had not used it long enough to deplete the battery. Over all it is not bad for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good MP3 for the money
Very good little mp3 player for the money. I use it just to play music. I plug my 3.1 computer speaker system in the mp3 player an push play. Transferring files/play list from computer to mp3 player is straight foward. You have to be patient and gentle. a little confusing to use some features. watch the tutorials on you tube they are a big help. The ear buds included SUCK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little mp3 player for the price
Don't let the inexpensive price fool you, this is a pretty decent little mp3 player. Easy to use, simple to load music on, and a fairly good battery life. Usually get 4-6 hours non-stop from a charge. Earbuds are a little cheap, but it has good sound.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A little hard to use

this player came ready to use and easy to work. charging/downloading cord and earbuds included. I plugged it into my laptop, dragged and dropped the music i wanted, and was ready to rock. allows folders to group music into playlists. Very functional and enjoyable player. battery life gives hours of listening. only drawback is limit on music file types, however i easily converted some mp4 to mp3 and they work well. sound is clear. don't expect a top of the line 100 $ player, but this one works well and is an absolute steal at the price. Nice to have all my music handy!
I really enjoy this MP3 player. I just wish it were a little bigger. Hard to handle sometimes. Still learning it, but I wish I could get to certain songs faster. My 7 yrs old Granddaughter loves it. Easy to download mp3 songs. I had to use a converter to download some songs from my computer. Got a free program on line. No big problem. Battery life seems good.
