HP 7110 Wide Format Printer
Easy cartridge replacement. Like every printer by any company I have ever had that uses individual ink color cartridges, the majority of the ink just continually gets used cleaning the print head nozzles that clear then clog endlessly even while printing numerous pages. Part & parcel of individual ink color cartridges no matter what brand or model printer you buy that has each color in it's own cartridge. Why was print head cleaning never implemented to allow cleaning just one color? So much wasted ink cleaning all colors every time just one color clogs. Oh well enough ranting. Worth it all to get big beautiful prints. Printer handles 11x17 paper very well. No jams. Have to tilt the printer backwards sometimes when first feeding a stack of paper or it can't grab that first sheet. Sometimes leaves grab impressions in the top edge of the paper. Not perfect by any means but certainly very satisfactory. Really like the 7110 management utility that installs with the driver. Easy to use it to check, test & change things. Can also take you right to the HP page to buy more inks. Currently about $100 for a full set of 4 colors XL high capacity cartridges. "Don't match colors very well"
Im an Artist and do a lot of printing. I've had a lot of printers. The problem I have with this printer is the color matching is a little off. Colors are an issue
Bought this printer to do some bigger posters and the colors far from what I was expecting compared to my other cheap inkjet printer. Even of good quality photo paper and best quality setting, it's really off. Color profile is wrong.
The color profile is off on this printer. Everything I print has a red tint, and in order to remove it every image I print has to be altered in My color profile. There is no way to permanently fix this. It's a problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
