You get what you pay for
I wanted to replace my 40 plus year old push mower and this one came up with good revues. So, fast delivery with one hour time slot. Excellent. Boxed well, easy to assemble. The machine it's self does a reasonable job, the handle been in pieces has a tendency to twist. The grass collection box is a metal frame covered with a plastic and mesh netting. When assembled it was out of shape and one of the metal welds snapped. So yes it's usable but no match for old quality made mowers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

OK BUT
Nice light to use and works well. The big problem I had was there was NO lube on any of the moving parts the front steel roller had to be taken off and greased, drive chain was dry. After using the mower for a few moments the large chain sprocket nut came off and so the chain did not drive the front cutters. With it all fixed the mower works well. Once properly adjusted, a dream to use
Very similar design to one my Grandad had in the 1970s, but this one is made with slightly lighter materials. Very easy to push. I had to adjust the blades so that they're almost touching the cutting edge and raise the blades up so that they don't dig into the grass. With a bit of oil on the roller to stop it squeaking, it has done a great job of cutting my lawn. Pretty fast too once you get into the swing of it. No electrical cables, no smelly petrol, no battery to recharge - an excuse for a bit of exercise too!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
