The CH Products 300-111 USB Pro Pedal will let you will feel like you are right in the middle of the action as you play your flight simulator games. Flight simulators are fun, and add-on accessories only make them even better. To that end, this device has three axes of control. You get both left and right toe brake controls with the X and Y axes. This set even features a heel-toe differential that feels realistic under your feet. Furthermore, if you enjoy racing games in addition to flying ones, then you will appreciate the versatility of this product. Chocks are included with the 300-111, and you can use these to secure the rudder axis. With the rudder secured, the pedals will not slide back and forth. Then they will serve as a gas pedal and brake, so you can use them to simulate driving a car. The CH Products 300-111 USB Pro Pedal has a plug-and-play driverless installation feature. The hardware uses USB 2.0, and the cord is hard-wired into the device. You only must plug in the seven-foot cord's USB socket into your computer and enjoy your game. This durable gadget offers you platform variety. It is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. It also works with Mac OSX operating systems. Once you connect the device to your Mac or PC, you and your game become one in virtual reality. When using the pedals with a Windows operating system, you can also use the Control Manager programming software from CH. The 300-111 set is compatible with other products in the CH line. These pedals may not actually be hooked up to a real plane, but they are built like they are. Excellent Quality, Built to Last, Works 4.0...All you need.
This is the second CH Products Pro Pedals I purchased. The first one is still functional, in use, after nearly 19 years. I bought this second set on eBay to ensure I had a backup if and when the first one eventually breaks. The right toe brake does hang a little occasionally. In any event, they are built well (for my big feet) and not too close together. I would like them to be a little farther apart like a real aircraft, but I've grown used to them over the years. Lastly, I've used a simple 2x4 block setup to keep them against the back of the wall. They are somewhat light and will slide around a little in anxious moments. My little fix works great. I attached the ch products to my pc. The pc finds them, They pass the test & calibrations. The little green leds light up turn on my pc. When I try to use them within my games, THEY'RE NOT found. Tried them in Win XP/Win7 to no avail. Am VERY disappointed with this product line. I WAS a ThrustMaster man but, I thought I'd upgrade. It is NOT an upgrade at all. Am so disgusted. Best entry level pedals perious.
I tried 2 of the other popular brand and they both broke with minimal hours. These I have used harder and work better. i expected the distance of the pedals to be an issue at first but they are very comfortable and once your paying attention very immersive, the distance is not an issue.
