Returned a Roberts bluetooth DAB model as it was soo muffled. This Ruark is miles better and has a real aerial. Bluetooth connects well. Easy to use. Sound a little 'tubby', but still it has adjustable bass and treble to reduce this. Pretty good, shame it cost me £200 to find a decent bedside clock radio with DAB and bluetooth. 3.5/5
Surpassed expectations.Exceptional quality in every department.Auto set-up, a doddle to use the controls bluetooth, line out ,D.A.B, F.M, alarm, etc.Appearance and sound are 5*.
I have been hunting for a good price of this model for a long time. After hearing it in John Lewis, and comparing to the ever so popular Roberts vintage model (which sounds miserable), there was no dilemma. Fantastic sound, good reception and it matches the kitchen appliances as well :)
I have a Pure Evoke D3 and thought the sound was good. This is a completely different league. The bass is so tight and deep, clarity is amazing - never thought I could get sound like this from a mono speaker.
Best tech I've ever bought - and I'm a techie!
