Pro's + there is a large roster of characters with new additions + there are many features that give the game great replay value + the fighting is simple and easy to learn + Play with friends and it's hard to put down + create your own character Con's - Soul Calibur 2 is actually better in terms of Game play - the combat is just too simple and expert players can be beaten by simple button mashing - the graphics, for a Soul Calibur game, are actually not as good as you'd expect and are worse that SC2 - the characters are wildly unbalanced and Kilik will just decimate everyone else - The game just doesn't feel finished, with many glitches, colours and skin tones that just don't look right, and too many features that haven't been executed properly.
Soul calibur is one of those games that you can play endlessly without getting bored, in fact I played my old copy so much that it stopped working. After playing soul calibur 4 I missed the older version and decided to buy myself another copy. I havent regreted that decision yet. the graphics even for an older game are still stunning and the character customisation as well as story and free play modes give you an endless amount of things to do. A very good game if youre feeling bored and need something to take your mind off it. Lots of action and even little bits of humour here and there.

I got this game to finish the collection off, so my son can play each new character. It was very nostalgic getting the older games, looking at the changes in graphic designs and the development of software through the generation of new games. Always loved the old regular characters and the introduction of new ones in each game. Love it
