A highly popular Russian timepiece, lightly modified to create something a little more unique. Vostok Amphibia Russian Dive Watch. Brand New, Boxed with papers. 'Scylla' dial, with lumed markers. Original bezel replaced with a new custom blue item. Aftermarket lumed paddle hands. New tropic strap. Genuine 200m dive capability. Case design 710 Ministry. A real head-turner, conversation piece, and addition to anyone's collection. A Brief History In 1942 the Moscow Watch Company evacuated to its current home in Chistopol City. The Vostok name was adopted in the 1960s, and the Amphibia arrived in 1968. It is driven by the 31 jewel Vostok 2416b automatic movement. It has been described as being "tougher than Russian steak." It has a power reserve of over 30 hours.

Awesome time machine
Really happy with purchase, I see people complaining about the crown, but that is not a defect, it’s a safety mechanism, so if you forget to push the crown in and hit somewhere with it, it won’t brake the mechanism inside like in any other watches. Just learn how to operate this watch, once you know the tricks, it’s amazing. You also can change the date quickly if you move the hour hand between 9 and 12, back and forth, clever. This watch was designed to be better than Rolex back in 1945 in terms of waterproofing and durability. Today, many expensive watches out there use the waterproofing system of the Vostok. Russian technology is not to be pretty, it’s to be solid and to last. Excellent price for a 200m Diver’s Watch, and the style... it’s a Vostok, a beautiful Russian Tank.
