The people from the Polar Express
There use on the Engine or the Cars and you could move them around from car to car. The only problem could be if you have a tunnel or bridge and there standing up then they could fall off the car. You could put them on the front of the Engine but only two. There arms and legs and head move. Also you could sit them on the roof on the little pegs. Okay Train Set
The Lionel Lion Chief Polar Express train set is an okay set. I run it on the included O36 track and it seems to shuffle in the curves, perhaps due to the spring supported front truck. I ran this train for 10 minutes and the solder for the ground wire on the rear truck broke. Poor craftsmanship, but I was able to solder the wire back on and it runs fine now. The remote function is awesome. My 3-year old is able to control the train much easier than using a traditional transformer. The sounds are good quality, but don't expect Legacy quality. The lighted passenger cars have nice detail and the set looks great rolling down the track. The smoke generator works well and is in sync with the chugging sound, which is a nice detail. Overall it's a good set so far for the price, and perhaps I got one with a rare weak solder. I would have rated this item 5 stars if it weren't for the solder problem and shuffling motion in curves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
