Never had much success at cutting glass before but had some old blown double glazed units which were too good to dump. Read that carbide was better than diamond for cutting glass. It's true!. Glass cutter review
I have bought this and was delighted in how precise it scores the glass and creates a clean break. I put 3 in 1 oil in the reservoir and it works. I’ve tried other cutters and they don’t score the glass properly. This tool is a little gem and really good value. It has given me the confidence to cut glass. Good tool for the money.
I bought two of these, one for myself, and one for my Daughter in law, for her business. The tools were adequately built, and the pack included a dropper for filling the built in oil reservoir. Both tools needed the screw connection between the handle and the blade holder tightening a little to make the oil valve work properly. After half an hour practicing on some scrap glass we were getting consistent results. You may wish to use end cutters to break off the waste when cutting curves. Smooth On Cutting
This is a well made item, it has a nice weight in the hand with a none slip design and is made up of four detachable parts, it also comes with an oil filler, (There is no oil in the oil filler). I brought this not to cut flat glass but bottle glass, to reuse as holders or cover. I did not find anything wrong with this item, due to what I was using the product for. Great little glass cutting tool.
An easy to use glass cutting tool, assisted through the inclusion of an internal oil reservoir. Turn the glass over and tap the glass with the brass end ball and the jobs a good one.
