The best of both worlds! Phono signals can be directly saved as MP3 files onto a USB stick. Finally, there is a built-in AM / FM radio to make for an all-around music listening experience. The sweeping wooden cabinet, fabric-covered speaker grilles, and golden trim add to the nostalgic retro style of this beautiful device.
On the plus side I am very pleased with this unit. It was purchased so that I could hear all my old vinyl LPs, tapes and cds and record them all to usb to transfer them to my computer where they can be played back through the unit via Bluetooth or used to burn more mp3 cds. The radio works well although I do find using the preset a bit fiddly but you get used to it.
Everything appears to perform as advertised and is easy to use. The unit is in a proper wooden enclosure and looks very stylish blending retro and modern very successfully.
On the minus side, on my unit the record turntable is not quite flat so the records tend to go up and down slightly but this does seem to affect the way they play. If you turn the volume up the speakers are prone to vibration but are fine if the volume is at a more moderate level. When you record a tape or LP it is up to you whether to try and split the usb recordings into tracks or leave them all as a file for one side of tape or LP. On cd recording the usb stops after each track so you have to do that manually.
Overall I would recommend this unit.
Pleased with the look of the unit. Fits in well with our decor. Sound quality is acceptable for the size of the room. I haven’t used all of the features yet, only time will tell if it all is good
I have enjoyed playing my newly found vinyl..
Also has built in tech, CD and cassette player, UBS function and Radio.
Great value and looks good.
Highly recommended. Easy to use.
