  • Murder During An Eclipse!!

This episode begins with a complete lunar eclipse, and even the hard-working detectives Barnaby and DS Jones are seen to be enjoying the moment! However, murder is never far away and during the phenomenon someone is killed. As is normal in these parts, this is just the beginning of a chain of gruesome events and there are twists and turns galore. There are plenty of famous faces to be seen, including the lovely Claire Cailbraith(Heartbeat, Home Fires etc), who plays the owner of a teashop and widow of one of the victims. Also here is Maureen Lipman as a dodgy columnist in the local paper. There is plenty to enjoy here and yet another cracking case in the long-running Midsomer series. Excellent!
