There is not much to say about the classic films (aside from the last movie which I choose to ignore & chose the 4 film Boxset instead). What I will focus on is the error in packaging information provided by by Fox, which does not match the actual running time of the he films. BBFC passed the first 3 Die Hard movies uncut in 2008 (although there is still one minor jumpcut in 3 in the fight between McClane and Targo who in one shot is being hit by a chain, cut to the next shot chain is around his neck without explanation). The big error is rather than repackage the UK rerelease (this was in 2013) with the new running times Fox just repackaged the original cases from the earlier cut releases. Hence the following is a break down of the he actual disc runtime Vs what is on the packaging and original US release: Die Hard: runtime is 132 minutes 22 seconds Vs 127 minutes on packaging ( the actual US release is 132 minutes). Die Hard 2 ( note this will be the first release not to use the Die Harder subtitle) is 128 minutes 22 Vs the 118 minutes incorrectly listed on packaging (the US version is 124 minutes). Die Hard with a Vengeance is 128 minutes 9 seconds and not the incorrectly listed 123 minutes on packaging (the US version is 131 minutes) Die Hard 4.0 (aka Live Free or Die Hard) is 128 minutes 44 seconds and not 123 minutes as listed on packaging (it is also longer than the 128 minutes on the US version). In terms of extras the original Die Hard is missing the larger bulk of extras from the DVD including Branching scenes option, magazine articles and DVD ROM Screenplay of film. But otherwise a very solid package that includes the 90 minutes plus Bonus Doc. Outside cover is worn as is a used item but seller has kept individual cases and discs in good nick and £8.99 for 4 movies plus bonus doc is not bad indeed.
