A typically Beatlesque film (i.e. atypical) originally produced for television, this short film was intended to be an off-the-wall road movie with the Beatles and three dozen or so friends on a psychedelic bus. Shot with only a vague script and only bare outlines of scenes, the movie was meant to document a trip to the seaside resort town of Blackpool, England. Made in September of 1967, The Beatles' brilliant rock album is transformed into colourful and energetic images. The film also contains the only live version of John Lennon's æI Am the Walrus.Æ Third of the Beatles films to include Victor Spinetti, famous for his mohair sweater wearing role as the television director in A HARD DAYÆS NIGHT and as the determined scientist with the laser in Help!Product Identifiers

A trip back in time.......
Take a trip back in time... The music the settings in Cornwall and Kent fantastic colour imagination... Really ahead of its time when first produced. But fits in nicely into today's scheme of things. The amust for any Collector of Beatles memorabilia... Along with the yellow submarine film.... What more do you need... Maybe. All you need is Love. Your mother should know.. Beatles nostalgia at its best
i remember watching this film on TV with my parents back in, i think, 1967 - i would have been 14 and a huge Beatles fan, which i still am now i'm approaching 70! So i was never likley to give this product anything less than 5 stars - at the time it wasn't well received by the critics, but for people like me, The Beatles could do no wrong. In addition the coach driving was done down here in Cornwall where I've lived for many years now.
