Superior Threads Bottomline thread for English Paper Piecing and Appliqué
This thread is the one used by the professionals, and they use it with great results at their classes, everyone wants some when they see the beautiful outcome.. I use the gray colour one mostly. I use it with small English paper piecing, I am doing my C&G in Quilting and Patchwork and miniature patchwork is a requirement for the Diploma. A lot of money for no benefit.
I got this as I was running out of prewound bobbins. My machine has been very picky, and I was finally getting goid results rewinding the prewounds onto the makers bobbins! So when I got this thread, I was expecting similar, or better results from such an expensive product, which claimed its smoothness would ease any feed problems. It arrived very quickly. Is great to use on the sewing machine, both the bobbin and top stitch. It isn't quite invisible but looks much nicer than ordinary thread. However the best bit is that you can't see it from the front. I use it in the bobbin and top stitch when sewing in the ditch so if you do go a little off you can not see it. Brilliant thread for all hand sewing crafts.
Fantastic thread to use for patchwork as well as appliqué. It almost disappears into the fabric when hand stitching. You only need this shade as it blends in with all fabric colours. Fine thread for English Paper Piecing ...
Great blending colour (grey). Doesn’t tangle or shred during sewing. I use a Milliner’s needle size 11 and flat-back whip stitch. May seem fine compared to other sewing thread, but is strong. Would be good for appliqué too. Recommended.
