It is a circular saw, after all, and by a good manufacturer. Yes, it works, it's accurate, powerful and solidly reliable. There is no nasty snatch at start up, the blade tip is visible and the line guide notch is accurate. I particularly like the little holder for the blade change allen key - nice thought. If I was to grouse, it's that the power cable is too stiff in cold weather so that it fouls things and can pull the saw off line if you're not careful. Excellent for Metal roof cladding, having a low profile allows for easier handling and control when cutting. Underneath the gear housing next to the cutting blades is prone to scratches, I made a small stainless cover plate which attaches to this area and prevents wear and tear.
