The Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition Suppressed Memories (MAD22) is a board game by Fantasy Flight Games, recommended age range of 14 and above. The game is themed around fantasy and features a game board that immerses players in a mysterious and immersive world. With a focus on storytelling and strategy, this game is perfect for both boys and girls who enjoy engaging in a challenging and immersive gaming experience.
Great for those wanting completeness IF you find any one scenario replay-able. It's expensive for what you get.
I was able to get this product here at a little over a third the cost I saw anywhere else. It's still expensive, since it's an expansion and not a stand-alone game. (You must own the Second Edition of Mansions of Madness.) Still, I consider myself fortunate, since I really do love playing this game.
The down sides: You don't get that many new monsters or cards for the price you pay, and it only adds one scenario (currently) to the online app. You should seriously consider if "completeness" is really worth the cost of this expansion for you. Since you should already have the base game (second edition), I recommend you have some idea how replay-able you find the scenarios before buying this. Since this expansion only adds one, I wouldn't suggest buying this if you're a gamer who tends to get bored after its first play-through.
The up sides: As a group, this set of investigators has my favorite individual abilities (probably because they were created first). You get as many investigators as you would with the main game, and most everything in this expansion can be included in the other scenarios by the app. There's also a pretty good number of tiles. The production of the pieces in this expansion is every bit as good to me as the main game and other expansions. Personally, completeness was of interest, and I enjoy replaying the scenario(s), especially while introducing them to new people - so it's been worth it to me.
I have been searching for this game for a while. So happy I was able to find it. It was a Christmas gift for my son. He is really happy with it, especially since it is new in the box.
